INTJ. The Mastermind

INTJs are often called masterminds. Their back up plans can be manifold for successfully achieving important objectives. Uncertainty is to be avoided. Guided by their own vision they are often determined, against all odds, to bring it methodically to fruition. They are often a large storehouse of facts which can help guide them in their planning.

If you are an INTJ you tend to be objective and logical in the way you view the world. You want to know the proof behind an idea or outlook. Otherwise, why should it matter? At the same time, there's a part of you that reaches into the unknowable world of hunches and intuitions. You have "knowings" that have a strong pull to them. They exist without objective proof yet they are as real to you as the objective world. You reconcile the two realities by testing the objectivity of your intuition. Can your inner knowings be manifested into objective reality? Can they test out?

INTJs value time. They tend to be efficient and linear when achieving important objectives. They are very curious and are always analyzing what works and what doesn't. Their analysis tends to occur along linear paths. As in, they deeply analyze how to pursue a specific objective. How do we move from Point A to Point B? Their imaginations don't wander so much as they penetrate deeply into how to do what must be done, what is important to do, and what is the ultimate truth of existence.

INTJs often have a laser beam type of focus that may lead others to assume they are arrogant, but usually INTJs just have a deep need to get on with what they value and don't want to waste time on superfluous matters. They're not trying to be rude, but they don't want to be distracted either.

An INTJ's ability to envision what will be ultimately successful, and the strong drive to logically prove it out, often drives a precise set of personal values regarding how they plan to help humanity and the world. They tend to value their individual rights quite highly, and can sometimes be individualistic, quirky and artistic in the way they express themselves.

Physical reality is sometimes troublesome and sensitive for INTJs. They have so much going on in their head that the concrete world, which includes their bodies, can come across as a nuisance. Working actively with the physical world can bring about a sense of wholeness.
